Help & FAQ
Frequently asked questions about SNAPI.
This page explains how SNAPI works, what SNAPIPro and SNAPIBusiness are designed to do, and how we use calls and text messages to keep you informed.
General questions
What is SNAPI?
SNAPI Technologies builds intelligent call screening and protection flows that sit between callers and your phone lines. Our goal is simple: reduce spam, scams, and noise while making sure real people can still reach you.
What’s the difference between SNAPIPro and SNAPIBusiness?
SNAPIPro is designed for individuals and families who want protection for a personal phone line. SNAPIBusiness is designed for offices, teams, and customer-facing phone numbers that receive a higher volume of calls.
Does SNAPI replace my phone carrier?
No. SNAPI does not replace your carrier. Instead, SNAPI works alongside your existing carrier and phone number by screening and routing calls before they ring your device.
SNAPIPro (personal call protection)
How does SNAPIPro protect my personal phone?
SNAPIPro intercepts unknown or suspicious callers before your phone rings. Real people can pass a short, respectful challenge, while obvious spam and many robocalls are filtered out. Trusted contacts can be allowed through automatically.
Will my family and trusted contacts be slowed down?
You will be able to designate family, friends, and important numbers as trusted, so they can bypass most screening and reach you more directly. Our goal is to reduce noise — not block the people you care about.
What happens if someone fails the challenge?
If a caller fails or does not complete the challenge, the call may be blocked, dropped, or sent to a voicemail-style experience depending on how your SNAPI flows are configured. The idea is to stop bots and spam scripts before they reach you.
SNAPIBusiness (for offices and teams)
How does SNAPIBusiness help my team?
SNAPIBusiness is designed to shield staff from harassment, fraud, and spam while keeping your lines open for real customers. Calls can be screened, scored, and then routed to the right person, desk, or queue.
Can SNAPIBusiness handle multiple numbers or departments?
Yes. SNAPIBusiness is being designed to support multiple numbers, departments, or call flows so different types of callers can be treated appropriately and sent to the right place.
Can I use my existing business number?
In many cases, SNAPI can work alongside your existing business number via routing and call-forwarding flows. Exact options depend on your carrier, configuration, and the tools you use.
Privacy, data, and security
How does SNAPI handle my data?
We focus on processing only the data needed to protect and route your calls. Details about what we collect, how we use it, and how long we keep it are described in our Privacy Policy.
Does SNAPI listen to my personal calls?
SNAPI is built to screen and route calls — not to eavesdrop on or record your conversations without a clear reason and appropriate disclosures. If recording is ever used in the future for specific flows, we will explain it clearly and follow applicable laws and policies.
Where can I read more about privacy?
You can review our full privacy details in the Privacy Policy any time. If you still have questions, you can contact us at support@snapi-technologies.com.
Text messages, opt-in, and consent
Why does SNAPI send text messages?
SNAPI may send text messages (SMS) related to your account, call protection setup, or important updates about your service. We do this so you can stay informed about changes to your call flows or protection status.
How do I opt in to receive SMS messages?
You provide consent by completing a SNAPI form that clearly describes how we will use your number and what kinds of messages you will receive. For more detail, see our Opt-In Consent page.
How often will I receive text messages?
Message frequency varies based on how you use SNAPI. In general, you can expect service-related messages during setup, configuration changes, and important alerts. We do not use these numbers for general marketing texts without proper consent.
How do I stop receiving SNAPI text messages?
You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to a SNAPI text message. You may receive a final confirmation message that your opt-out was processed. After that, you should no longer receive SMS messages from that program.
How do I get help by text?
You can reply HELP to a SNAPI message for more information. You can also contact us directly at support@snapi-technologies.com.
Are there any SMS fees?
SNAPI does not charge you for SMS messages, but standard message and data rates may apply from your mobile carrier. Check with your carrier if you have questions about your plan or potential charges.
Do carriers guarantee message delivery?
No. While we work with trusted providers, carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery can be affected by your mobile carrier, network conditions, and device settings.
